“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
This is was my 8th training run, the last run of the second week! (Week 2: Sept. 30-Oct. 6th)
Eight runs in, two weeks down, 23 weeks from TODAY I’ll be running the Saturday Rock N’ Roll Marathon in Washington, DC.
Week 2 Statistics (if you’re into that sort of thing, and I still am)
- 23.75 minutes
Notable week 2 achievements:
- Time expected was ramped up to 25 minutes per run.
- Today, I reached the bottom of the loop (ending at Trump National). This is at the bottom of a very steep hill, which I have to run back up on the way back. Very awesome to finally make it.
- Chris Watanabe gets up every morning with me for a run.
